Students are empowered to read enthusiastically, think critically, and develop research skills. Our school libraries are popular community spaces where students gather with friends during recess or lunch, play games, and relax.

Los Altos High School student, Chris, reflects on how he learned to play the trumpet at Santa Rita elementary school, then enjoyed the band at Egan junior high school. Playing the trumpet has enabled Chris to be a part of a vibrant music community in high school.
